وكان يا مكان في قديم الزمان، كان هناك بنت اسمها العاتي! وتقول الحكاية بأن هناك بنت تشبه فلقة القمر واسمها العاتي، وقد هجر الزمن ريحها وأكلت السنون عمرها. وأصبحت تلك البنت كشهاب النار كقطر المطر كموج البحر وكرفيف أجنحة الطيور؛ وقيل بأنها الماء والتراب والبحر والرياح والسماء والنجوم والمجرات السماوية كلها. وقيل بأن تلك البنت قد أضاعت أهلها، فرسمت على صفحة الجبل كهيئة البشر وقالت هذه هي عائلتي، وفي يوم من الأيام رأيت صورتها وهي تتصدر الصحف وقد كُتب تحت اسمها "شابة حسناء تضرم النيران في حقل الجراح" وكانت فاجعة ذلك الزمان.
