Book Description
"الموسوعة الفلسفية العربية" هو عمل يمثل التفكير الفلسفي العربي والعالمي كما يتفكره المعاصرون العرب من المشتغلين بالفلسفة. تم تقسيم الموسوعة إلى ثلاثة أجزاء رئيسة، كل جزء منها مستقل عن الآخر من جهة، ومتمم له من جهة أخرى. الجزء الأول للمصطلحات والمفاهيم، والجزء الثاني للمدارس والمذاهب والتيارات الفلسفية، والجزء الثالث للأعلام. وكانت الحكمة وراء ذلك تتلخص في سببين أساسيين: الأول هو أن هذا التقسيم يجعل كل جزء من الأجزاء الثلاثة عملاً مستقلاً يحمل في نفسه قيمته المستقلة عن بقية الأجزاء الثاني: هو أن هذا التقسيم يجعل الموسوعة متفردة ومتميزة بتقسيم أكثر تلبية لمتطلبات الباحث من الموسوعات الأجنبية التي درج معظمها على الجمع بين المفاهيم والمدارس والأعلام. فكان الجزء الواحد منها يفقد قيمته في غياب الأجزاء الأخرى.
فتقسيم هذه الموسوعة إضافة إلى أنه يجعل من كل جزء من الأجزاء عملاً مستقلاً له قيمته شبه المتكاملة، فإنه يلبي حاجات ومتطلبات أوفر، ويوفر على الباحث بعض جهوده. وإذا كان العمل الموسوعي الفلسفي العربي يتحرك ضمن دائرة محدودة، هي دائرة الترجمة والتأليف القاموسي الضيق، فإنه يدخل بهذا العمل الموسوعي دائرة أوسع.
فإضافة إلى أن هذه الموسوعة تخدم الباحث المتخصص والمهتم بالفلسفة شأنها شأن الموسوعات المتخصصة، وإضافة إلى أنها تسد نقصاً بارزاً وواضحاً في الكتابة العربية الفلسفية والمكتبة العربية عموماً، فقد جاءت جديدة مبتكرة في شكلها على الأقل، كما هي مبتكرة في مضمونها أيضاً.
