Book Description
كتاب الكامل في التاريخ هو من أشهر كتب التاريخ الإسلامي، وأحسنها ترتيباً وتنسيقاً ألفه "عز الدين أبي الحسن ... الشيباني المعروف بإبن الأثير" المتوفي سنة 630ه. وهذا هو الجزء الأول من الكتاب اعتنى به الأستاذ "إبراهيم شمس الدين" جمعاً وتحقيقاً.
ما يُعرف عن كتاب الكامل في التاريخ بأنه جامع لأخبار ملوك الشرق والغرب، وما بينهما، بدأه إبن الأثير منذ أول الزمان إلى آخر سنة ثمان عشرين وستمائة، وقد وضح منهجه بقوله: "ذكرت في كل سنة لكل حادثة كبيرة مشهورة ترجمة تخصها، فأما الحوادث الصغار التي لا يحتمل منها كل شيء ترجمة فإنني أفردت لجميعها ترجمة واحدة في آخر كل سنة ..." وهكذا فقد جمع إبن الأثير في كتابه هذا ما لم يجتمع في كتاب واحد، فجمع التاريخ من بطون الكتب ووفق ما جاء في الروايات، وضبط أبوابها وفصولها وجمع الأحداث تحت عناوينها وأخرجها في أبهى حلّة.
ومن عناوين الكتاب نذكر: "القول في جميع الزمان من أوله إلى آخره"، "القول في ابتداء الخلق وما كان أوله"، "القول فيما خلق بعد القلم"، "القول في الليل والنهار أيهما خلق قبل صاحبه"، "قصة إبليس ..."، "ذكر خلق آدم عليه السلام" ، "ذكر إسكان آدم الجنة وإخراجه منها"، "ذكر الموضع الذي أهبط فيه آدم وحواء من الأرض"، "ذكر ولادة شيث"، "ذكر من قال أن الذبيح إسماعيل"، "ذكر السبب الذي من أجله أمر إبراهيم بالذبح وصفة الذبح" ... الخ.
