هذا الكتاب للشيخ أبي محمد عبد الله بن محمد الأصبهاني، يعد من نوادر التراث الإسلامي، ذكر فيه ما ذكر من حسن خلق رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وكرمه وكثرة احتماله وشدة حيائه وعفوه وجوده وسخائه، وشجاعته، وتواضعه وصبره على المكروه، وإغضائه وإعراضه عما كرهه، ورفقه بأمته وكظمه الغيظ، وحمله، وكثرة تبسمه وسروره ومزاجه، وبكائه وحزنه، ومنطقه وألفاظه وقوله عند قيامه من مجلسه ومشيه، والتفاته وذكر محبته الطيب، وتطيبه وذكر قميصه وجبته، وشكره ربه عند لبسه، جعله في ثمانية أجزاء.
وأصل هذا الكتاب نسخة محظوظة محفوظة في إسبانيا تقع في 212 ورقة بكل ورقة صفحتان، وهي نسخة جيدة جداً اعتمدها المحقق وقام بتخريج الآيات والأحاديث الواردة فيها،وعرف بالأعلام الواردة أسماؤهم في المخطوطة ووضع لها فهرساً بالمحتويات.
