لقد احتوى هذا البحث على حصيلة علمية لا بأس بها استغرقت من الباحث بما يقرب من أربع سنوات من حياته، رغم أن مصادر الإمام الخاصة بالقسم العقائدي كلها مخطوطات عدا المختصرات التي لا تفيد الباحث في شيء، فقد طبعت في مقدمة البحر الزخار وما طبع في المقدمة لا يعدو أن يكون أربع كتب مختصرات هي الملل والقلائد ورياضة الأفهام ومعيار العقول في أصول الفقه، لكن المصادر والشروح كلها مخطوطة وقد أشرنا إلى قائمة المخطوطات بذلك.
