"الصلاة معراج المؤمن، قربان كل تقي، مفتاح القلوب ثمن الجنة ومنزل الرحمة وزاد المؤمن ونوره. الصلاة هي جواز العبور على الصراط وستر من النار. قد تشعر بعبء كبير وثقل شديد عندما يحين وقت الصلاة. فأعمال كثيرة لم تنجزها بعد. ينتابك صراع داخلي بين القيام للصلاة وترك أعمالك أو متابعة أعمالك وترك الصلاة، ولا توجد لديك أعذار عقلية أو شرعية والغلبة عادة للعمل لا للصلاة. قد تتأفف، قد تتذمر ولو بباطنك، وأنت على فراش نومك متدثر بغطائك وعيناك ملتحفتان بجفونك لا تريد القيام للصلاة. تدعو الله بسرك لو أنه يسقط التكليف عنك في هذه اللحظات فقط. والنداء يعلو للصلاة...قم إلى الصلاة، فالكون كله مشغول في عبادة الله، وترانيمه تملأ الأرجاء بدءاً من أصغر ذرة حتى أعظم مجرة. نعم الكل يسبح...ولسان حالهم يرتل أنشودة: " أنت المسبح في كل مكان، والمعبود في كل زمان، والموجود في كل أوان، والمدعو بكل لسان، والمعظم في كل جنان..." قم إلى الصلاة وشارك في التسبيح: الملائكة والسماوات والأرض والرعد والجبال والطيور...فالكل يسبح بلا فتور، قم إلى الصلاة، فالكون كله خاضع لمشيئته مطيع لأمره، ساجد له، وكأنهم في صلاة جماعة تلف أرجاء الكون، وكل خاضع يصلي على طريقته...قم إلى الصلاة، فهي شرف قد خصك الله تعالى به، ولا تدع نفسك تتأخر عن ذرات الحصى والرمال والجمادات والنباتات والنجوم...وأنت غارق بأعمالك...بنومك...بملذاتك، لا تشعر بما يدور حولك، ولو كشف لك الغطاء لرأيت عجباً ولإنتابك الخجل لتقصيرك، فقم إلى الصلاة آملاً مغفرته ورحمته وقل، أستغفرك من كل لذة بغير ذكرك، ومن كل راحة بغير أنسك، ومن كل سرور بغير قربك، ومن كل شغل بغير طاعتك...قم وتظلل برحمة ربك، وقف بين يدي سيدك، وإنهل من فيض كرمه وجوده وإحسانه قبل فوات الأوان. كم هي أمنية جميلة أن نتذوق حلاوة صلاتنا، لا بل أن نتشوق إليها، وننتظرها كما كان رسول الله ينتظرها بفارغ الصبر ونردد من أعماق قلوبنا: أرحنا بها يا بلال وليس لنرتاح منها. وفي هذا الكتاب محطات نقف عندها لنروي شيئاً من ظمئنا، من حضور قلب أو خشوع، أو إطمئنان، أو لنتعلم من خلاله بعضاً من الآداب، ونقتبس جذوة من الأسرار.
