والكتاب يعالج مناحي التأويل المختلفة من خلال نصوص شعرية، قديمة وحديثة، اختارها المؤلف من الأدبين العربي والأجنبي، للكشف عن تعدد المعاني والرؤى في مساقات التأويل.
