"لقد خيّب بروميثيوس ظن زيوس حقاً بخلقه لحيوانٍ عاقلٍ، ومفكرٍ، ومتكلمٍ، والأنكى والأدهى، أنه قام بخلقه على صورته وهيئته.
الحيوان العاقل كان نسخة مصغرة من الآلهة، كان يشبه زيوس، يشبه بروميثيوس، يشبه جميع الآلهة، لذلك، كان غضب كبير أوليمبوس أشبه بالبركان الذي انفجر وسال من سماء الأوليمب إلى الأرض، ليحرقها بحممه ويدمرها بلهبه، وهو يسأل نفسه متعجباً: كيف الإله قديم قدم الكون ينحدر من أسرة مقدسة وتجمعه بكبير صلة رحم وأواصر قربى أن يخلق حيواناً إغريقياً بهذه الكيفية، وهذه الصورة؟!!.
كيف لكائن سماوي، قدرته الغيب، وميزته المجهول، أن يعيشق الأرض السبخة والجرداء بهذه الطريقة؟!. وأن يخرج منها طينة إغريقية تشبه في هيئتها وصورتها طينة أوليمبوس؟!.
كيف استطاع أن يصنع طينة متماسكة بهذا الشكل العجيب، طينة لزجة ومرنة وملساء بهذه الطريقة الفريدة من نوعها؟!.
طينة مفكرة ومتكلّمة بوسعها أن تطرح الأسئلة، وبوسعها أن تحلل الأجوبة! طينة بوسعها ان تخطط وتدبر وتتآمر، وكأنها إله أوليمبي أصيل؟!"
