على أبواب التطوير تقف المؤلفة مؤكدة أننا إن أردنا أن يغير الله حالنا وينصرَنا، فلا بد من أن نأخذ بالأسباب الكفيلة بإحداث هذا التغيير، ابتداء بالنفس وانتهاء بالمجتمع.
ومنطلقات هذا التغيير تندرج في جذور خمسة: إحياء الفعالية بالمعنى الكامل الذي يقتضي منا أن نحصّل قوانين فلاحنا في الآخرة وسننه، وأن نحصّل قوانين نجاحنا في الدنيا وسننه. تعميق الإحساس بالواجب والمسؤولية: فالتاريخ لا يبدأ من مرحلة الحقوق بل من مرحلة الواجبات، ولذا فإن من فَقِه واجباته الشرعية فقهاً صحيحاً فَقِه أيضاً واجباته الحضارية. الحرية: وهي جوهر التوحيد، فالمقلد المتعصب خائف من التجديد، ومن تحرر من إسار شهواته وجمود أفكاره قادر على إدارة شؤون نفسه ومجتمعه إدارة حكيمة عاقلة. علاقة العدل بين الإنسان وأخيه الإنسان: ومن خلالها نحكم على مدى رشد أي أمة أو غيها، وتمثلها يوجب على المسلم تجنب مظاهر الظلم، وإن تفشت في مجتمعه. القدوة الراشدة: فالأمة الراشدة هي التي يحقق قادتها وصفوتها في ذواتهم معادلة القوة والأمانة.
وسبيل التغيير – كما ترى المؤلفة – يجب أن تمر بتصحيح بعض المفاهيم: فالتربية الروحية وسيلة لا غاية، والجهل بفقه الأولويات يغرق الإنسان في الفروع على حساب الأصول، والتعصب يبعدنا عن المنهج وعن الفهم الصحيح للمنهج، والتقليد الأعمى يشل الفاعلية ويحيل الإنسان إلى إمعة يقلد دون تفكير أو تأمل.
