يشتمل هذا الكتاب على نبذة وجيزة من فضائل "القرآن الكريم"، وثواب حامليه وتلاوته، وبيان بعض خواصه وفوائده؛ ليعطي للقراء صورة مصغرة يعرفون منها فضل كتاب الله جعله الله عزّ وجلّ معجزة خاتم الأنبياء، وتولى حفظه بنفسه، فكان معجزة الدهر، وكتاب الخلود، ودستور العالم، وسبيل السعادة في الدنيا والآخرة.
ولم يتعرض المؤلف في هذا الكتاب للبحوث العلمية المتعلقة بالقرآن الكريم مثل: بحث نزول القرآن، وجمعه وترتيبه، ومعنى كونه أنزل على سبعة أحرف، والقراءات المتعلقة به؛ ولكنه اقتصر على الناحية الواضحة السهلة من النواحي المتعلقة بالقرآن، وهي ما يراها القارئ ويلمسها في هذا الكتاب من الأحاديث والآثار المخرجة، مع بيان رتبتها وشرح الغامض من ألفاظها، وإستنباط بعض الأحكام والفوائد منها.
