إن الكتاب يتناول أساسا الصراع بين قيم الإسلام وقيم الغرب المعادية لنا، ويشرح كيف أن (سلمان رشدي) و (صدام حسين) مثلاً وجهان لعملة واحدة هي الغرب المعادي لقيم الحق والثورة التي يحملها الإسلام. وإذا كان (سلمان) هو الحلقة الاولى، فصدام هو الحلقة الثانية من حلقات الهجوم الغربي على عالمنا الإسلامي، لأنه قدم المبرر للتدخل الاجنبي بدخوله هو الكويت ومن قبل في حربه مع إيران.
