يشكل هذا الكتاب عرضاً تحليلياً منظماً للفكر العقائدي عند الشيخ محمد جواد البلاغي، حيث انتظمت مع مؤلفة هذا السفر آراء البلاغي الكلامية وطروحاته العقائدية، كما وردوده لما كان قد طُرح من إشكالات منهجية وموضوعية على المدرسة الكلامية الشيعية، في سلسلة مترتبة الأبحاث تتبع في تراتيبتها النُظُم المُتّبعة في الأنساق العقائدية السائدة، فبدأ مع التوحيد فالعدل فالنبوة فلإمامة فالمعاد، وقوفاً بذلك على تفصيل آراء البلاغي كما ونقاشاته لذوي الأديان والمذاهب المختلفة في كل واحد من تلك الابواب.
إنّ القيمة المعرفية التي يمكن أن يضيفها هذا الكتاب هي في تنظيمه لكل طروحات الرجل وتقديمها كوجبة متكاملة تُغني الطالب على صعيدي تقديم العقائد الصحيحية والحقة مع طرح الاستدلال عليها من جهة، وتعريف الباحث بالمنهجية العلمية التي أسس لها البلاغي وقدّمها من جهة أخرى، وذلك معين في مجالات عديدة ليس أقلها فهم الذهنية الكلامية العامة لعلماء الشيعة، ومن ثم الاستناد إلى هذا الفهم للدخول عبره إلى مجالات أخرى تتخطى المبحث الكلامي والعقائدي.
