يقدم المحامي والأديب "كارلس ما كراخ أي بروخا" من إسبانيا، رواية مدهشة ومشوقة في آن معاً، هي حكاية لا تشبه بقية الحكايات، إنها حكاية خاصة، تجمع ما بين الشرق والغرب، وما بين الحب والحرب، وما بين الموت والحياة.
تخبرنا هذه الرواية التي عنونها الكاتب بـ"الممرضة التونسية" عن مصير عاشقين إلتقيا صدفة "آلكي سارافيين" من فلندا تاجر بهارات يجوب الأرض، و"ملاك" الممرضة التونسية التي إلتقاها عند مروره في بلادها.
يتعرف من خلالها على حضارة الشرق ومنها تونس وأعلامه ومؤرخيه من شخصيات فريدة من مثل "ابن خلدون" الذي مات في القاهرة والذي كتب المقدمة، كذلك شيخ الشعراء وأدبائها "أبو القاسم الشابي".
-ولكن ما الذي حدث بعد ذلك؛ هل تسير الحياة على ما نشتهي ونريد، أم أن هنالك دائماً مفاجآت على الإنسان أن يدفع ثمنها من حياته.
-في تموز 2006 يبدأ العدوان الإسرائيلي على لبنان، فتقرر "ملاك" أن تلبي نداء الواجب وتذهب لمساعدة جرحى الحرب "كانت سعيدة: سعيدة لأنها سمعت صوتي، مغتبطة (...) أن الحرب قاسية بشكل لا يمكن المرء تصوره، وأن القصف يطاول من دون تمييز المدنيين البريئيين.."؛ فهل ستنجو ملاك أثناء أداء واجبها؟.
هذا ما تحنبئه سطور هذه الرواية المشوقة في تفاصيلها الدقيقة والرومانسية في حب الوطن وحب الحياة، أو بالأحرى التضحية بالنفس من أجل الآخر "يقول آلكي: إني احترم إرادتها لأني أعلم كم يجذبها ذلك البلد، كما أعرف جيداً مدى حماسها لمساعدة الآخرين..".
إنها أكثر من رواية، إنها ملحمة، هي صرخة يخطها الكاتب "كارلس ما كراخ أي بروخا" في وجه الظلم واللاعدالة واللاإنسانية ضد الأقوياء والهمجيين الذين اقتحموا حياة شعوب الأرض من أصحاب الحقوق والأرض، الآمينين، فهل سيكتب تاريخ آخر لهذه الأجيال يبعد عنهم شبح الموت لينعموا بالسعادة من بعد الشقاء؟
