تضم هذه الموسوعة نبذاً يسيرة عن أعلام الشرق والغرب، من المسلمين والعرب، وغيرهم من الرجال الذين كان لهم فضل كبير في البشرية. والموسوعة هذه لا تضم بين طياتها كل الرجال، بل أشهرهم، فرجال الإسلام يلزمهم المجلدات، ورجال الغرب يلزمهم المجلدات أيضا. ولكن يبقى القليل من المعرفة والثقافة خير من الجهل. ويمكن القول بأن هذه الموسوعة موجهة إلى الناشئين. إذ أنها جاءت باسلوب شيق يشد الناشئ إلى استقصاء المعلومات أحياناً من خلال أسلوب السؤال، وأحياناً أخرى بأسلوب السرد الشبيه بالقصصي الذي يستجيب له القارئ بشكل تلقائي ليبقى ما يقره مسجلاً في ذاكرته. إلى جانب ذلك كان هناك حرص على إرفاق النبذ حول الشخصيات والأعلام الوارد ذكرها بصورة معبرة تتيح إضفاء جو من التشويق والإمتاع على جو الموسوعة هذا ولم يكن هناك ترتيب أو تصنيف للرجالات والأعلام كل حسب توجهه واختصاصه وإبداعه في حقله، إلا أن هؤلاء تمّ تزيعهم على كتب الموسوعة الستة بين: قادة، زعماء، أئمة، صحابة، مشاهير، أدباء، شعراء، أبطال، ملوك، أمراء، أباطرة ومستكشفون. وتجدر الإشارة إلى أنه تمّ إغناء هذه الموسوعة بفقرة أسئلة وأجوبة، تزيد من تركيز الناشئ على المعلومات، كما أنها تشكل بمضمونها معين ثقافي إضافي للناشئ.
