يسعدني ويشرفني أن أقدم للقارئ العربي العزيز هذا المصنف الموسوعي الذي أسميته "رجالات وأعلام" بادئاً بهذا المجلَّد الأول عن المملكة العربية السعودية يتلوه قريبًا إن شاء الله مجلَّد ثاني عن المملكة أيضاً، وبعدهما مجلد ثالث عن دولة الكويت، ثم مجلد رابع عن دولة الإمارات، ثم خامس عن دولة قطر، ونتمنى أن يوفقنا الله لإنجاز هذه المجلدات في عامي 1433هـ و1434هـ. كما نأمل أن نكمل هذه الموسوعة بمجلد سادس ثم سابع عن باقي دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي: مملكة البحرين وسلطنة عُمان في عام 1435هـ بحول الله تعالى. وإن الهدف الأسمى من هذه الموسوعة هو العمل على التعارف ما بين رجالات وأعلام في المملكة العربية السعودية وما بين إخوانهم في دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي الذي هو رمز للتكتل والوحدة والترابط في الوطن العربي والذي نتمنى من المولى عز وجل أن يشمل هذا الترابط جميع أقطارنا العربية من المحيط الأطلنطي إلى الخليج العربي.
