جلس الطبيب يتناول طعام العشاء وسط المدعوين في الحفل، وأثناء ذلك راح الضيف الموجود على يمينه يحكى له عن أوجاعه وما يراه طبيبه المعالج ولما استأذن هذا الضيف للتوجه إلى الحمام التفت الطبيب إلى الضيف الموجود على يساره، وقال له غاضباً: يا له من رجل مزعج لقد استمر يحدثني عن متاعبه الصحية لأكثر من نصف ساعة!
ثم سأله: ما رأيك لو طالبته بدفع مبلغ ثلاثين جنيهاً مقابل هذه الاستشارات الطبية؟
فقال له الرجل: معك حق... إنه مطالب بالفعل بدفع هذا المبلغ نظير ذلك.. ثم استطرد قائلاً: ولكن لاحظ أنك كذلك مطالب بدفع أربعين جنيهاً لي مقابل هذه الاستشارة القانونية فأنا يا عزيزي محام!!
