إن من أوجه خدمة القرآن الكريم، الإعتناء برسمه في المصاحف، وكتابته على الكتبة الأولى في الألواح، وحفظ أصول ذلك، وعدم الخروج في كتابته بغير الرسم العثماني وفي القرن الثالث عشر (هـ) نبغ من أهل "سلجمانة" (المغرب) رجل عظيم القدر، بعيد الشأو، عرف بخدمة القرآن الكريم، حتى صار مرجع الناس في ذلك، منذ ذلك العهد إلى اليوم، إنه أبو عبد الله "محمد التهامي بن الطيب" الغرفي الأمسيفي "السلجماني" الضرير، الذي أنشأ (منظومة) رائعة، ضمنها أهم مباحث القرآن الكريم، فكانت من أجود ما ألف في علم الرسم القرآني تنظيماً وترتيباً، تحتوي على إشارات تربوية عميقة، توضح قدرت مؤلفها على إستثمار الدرس القرآني في علاج خبايا النفسي الإنسانية ومداواتها، ومن أمثلة ذلك قوله: "والباءُ قبل خبائِثَ الألباب... كَبائِرَ الإثْم مَعَ الأسباب"... ومعناه: أن كبائر الذنوب، هي التي تكون بسبب خبث الطوايا، وفساد السرائر...
وحتى لا تبقى الإستفادة من هذه المنظومة الرائعة مقصورة على الشيوخ والعلماء المتمكنين، عمل على تحقيقها وشرحها، فضيلة الأستاذ محمد العمراوي وأضاف إليها كتابة الآيات والكلمات القرآنية بالرسم العثماني، المواقف لما في المنظومة من قواعد وهو رسم القرآن الكريم على رواية (ورش من طريق الأزرق) ليستفيد منها المبتدئ والمنتهي من طلبة القرآن الكريم وحفظته وكتبته وكل من اهتم بعلوم القرآن الكريم.
