لا يقتصر كتاب "أدونيس وشعرية الكتابة" على رؤى في شعره ونثره، بل يتجاوز ذلك إلى اهتمامات أهل الثقافة المغاربة بهذا الشاعر الكبير، وبصداقاتهم العميقة معه، ويأتي على رأسهم مؤلف هذا العمل "نور الدين محقق" حيث يستحضر عبر صفحات الكتاب علاقته بالشاعر العربي أدونيس "لقد شجعني أدونيس كثيراً على متابعة كتابة الشعر، وأرسل لي بعض الكلمات الجميلة التي تعبّر عن هذا التشجيع، كما قام بنشر قصيدتي "تفاحة أفروديت" في المجلة الذائعة الصيت "مواقف" (...) وكان لتشجيعاته هاته لي الأثر الرائع في إصراري على متابعة كتابة الشعر وإحاطته بكثير من التأملات سواء المتعلقة بهذا الشعر الذاتي الذي أبدعه أو بالشعر الذي يبدعه الشعراء الآخرون. هكذا إذن امتدت كتاباتي حول الشعر – يتابع المؤلف – وقد كان لشعر أدونيس مكانة كبرى داخل هذه التأملات إن لم يكن هو السبب الرئيسي في عملية إنتاجها ..." من هنا حرص المؤلف على جميع هذه التأملات الذاتية وترتيبها على عناوين تشي بمحبة كبيرة للشعر وأهله، خصوصاً أولئك الذين يؤمنون بأخوة الشعر، وأدونيس في مقدمتهم.
وفي الكتاب أيضاً يستحضر المؤلف كما يقول صداقة أدونيس مع الشاعر المغربي محمد بنيس كما يستحضر صداقته العميقة مع الشاعرين محمد الأشعري ومحمد بنطلحة وعلاقاته مع كل من الشاعرين حسن نجمي ومحمد بوجبيري وسواهما.
وبناءً على ما تقدم توزع الكتاب على مقدمة بقلم المؤلف، يتبع ذلك سبعة مقالات هي: 1- أدونيس يندمج في صورته، 2- أدونيس يغني لحروف الهجاء، 3- أدونيس يبحث عن أبجدية ثانية، 4- أدونيس ينشر أوراقه في الريح، 5- أدونيس يكتب ديوانه الإستعاري الكبير، 6- أدونيس في المرايا المتجاورة، و7- أدونيس والأفق الشعري الحداثي. وأخيراً (خاتمة): رسالة إلى أدونيس.
