قلب كلب رواية للكاتب الروسي "ميخائيل بولغاكف" أنجزت منذ مطلع عام 1925 لكنها كانت بمثابة حراب في خاصرة السياسة، لذا بقيت في الكتمان أكثر من ستين عاماً.
وفي عام 1987 أفرج عنها وظهرت للضوء وطبعت مرات عديدة.

الرواية قراءة مبكرة لما آل إليه الإتحاد السوفيتي... اتخذ الكاتب من الكلب بطلاً للرواية وكيف تحول الكلب إلى إنسان بعد أن زرعوا فيه غدة نخامية لإنسان.
تحول الكلب إلى إنسان لكنه بقي بقلب كلب... من هذه الفجوة تبدأ الإسقاطات الرمزية والإشارات النقدية للمجتمع الروسي.
