يتعرض هذا البحث لوضع المرأة في عهد النبوة, لمعرفة النظرة الإسلامية الصحيحة للمرأة وما لها وما عليها, وذلك بارتشاف ولو قطرات من المنهج الرئيسي الأول ألا وهو سيدنا محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم- الذي وصفه ربه بقوله: (وما أرسلناك إلا رحمة للعالمين) فكلامنا هو الوسيطة المحمودة التي هي بعيدة كل البعد عن الإفراط والتفريط, فالإفراط يمثله تيار الجاهلين لأحكام الشريعة الذين يسمون العادات ديناً وهم يمثلون فئة المطالبين بحرمان المرأة من حق التعليم والعمل والميراث وإبداء الرأي في اختيار شريك الحياة وغيرها من الحقوق, ظهر هذا الفرق حين بعد الناس عن الإسلام وتعاليمه حتى أصبح الرجل لا يرى حرجاً في ترك الصلاة والصوم متوانياً عن أداء فريضة الحج ساخراً بفريضة الزكاة, ولكنه يغالي في ظلم المرأة والتسلط عليها, وفي الجانب المقابل نجد التفريط وهو تيار المتحررين المتمردين الذين يطالبون بترك المرأة تفعل ما تشاء دون قيد ديني أو أخلاقي أو حتى عرفي. بهذا نرى أن الإسلام منح المرأة كافة حقوقها في حين أن الدول الكبرى صاحبات الدعوة الى حرية الشعوب لم تتوصل الى ما توصل إليه الإسلام فيما يتعلق بحقوق المرأة وفي وقت من أوقاتها كانت الى عهد قريب تبيح بيع الزوجات بل عقد مؤتمر يناقش هل المرأة إنسان. فالمرأة في الإسلام لها حق المشاركة في مختلف نواحي الحياة بلا إفراط وتفريط وذلك لمواجهة المفهوم السطحي والمتخلف للغرب عن تحرير المرأة الذي انحط الى مستوى التحرر من الأخلاق والحياء وهو أقصر الطرق لهدم المجتمعات.
