يقدم المؤلف في هذا الكتاب مادة متواضعة، جمعها بعناية، لتقديمها سهلة سلسلة بين أيدي المهتمين في هذا المجال، فوسمها بــ (مبادئ التصميم والديكور) فجاءت هذه المادة في ثمانية فصول، كل فصل فيها يتناول مادة متخصصة، فالفصول الأربعة الأولى تتناول كل ما يتعلق بالتصميم أكاديمياً ومهنياً، أما الفصلان الخامس والسادس فتناولنا فيهما اللون ثم علاقته بالديكور، والفصل السابع تناول الإضاءة وعلاقتها الوثيقة بالألوان والديكور، أما الفصل الأخير ففيه بعض الأفكار الإبداعية المقترحة، من أجل ديكور أفضل.
