إن كل القيم وأعلاها ومجموع المثل وأرقاها، ومسلمات الفطرة السليمة والمنطق القديم قد اجتمعت في كلماته صلى الله عليه وسلم، هذا من جهة، ومن أخرى فإن واقعة الشريف وحقيقته النورانية المخلصة وصدقه مع ربه ومع أمته هي التي سببت تخليد كلامه. علاوة على جانب الإبداع الفريد الذي كان يتمتع كلامه به والذي كان سبباً من أسباب التفاف العرب حوله وهم أهل فصاحة وبلاغة، حتى استطاع بتفوقه البلاغي أن يثير إعجاب البلغاء في عصره ليصدقوا بحق، مقولتيه المشهورتين: "أنا أعرب العرب" و"أنا أفصح العرب".
ودراسة لهذه العوامل مجتمعة، وتركيزاً على الجانب البلاغي والفصاحة بالذات، حاول المؤلف في كتابه هذا "فصاحة الرسول المصطفى وبلاغته" والمشتمل على تسعة وأربعين فصلاً، حاول إلقاء الضوء أولاً على خصائص اللغة العربية والمؤشرات الفريدة التي أهّلتها لتترجم كلام الله وتفصح عن كلام نبيه المختار صلى الله عليه وسلم، وليعرج بعدها على دراسة أولية وعاجلة لأسس الفصاحة المحمدية وروائع البلاغة النبوية المشحونة بالسير والسلاسة ورفعة الأسلوب ومتانة التركيب، كيما تكون منسجمة مع مضامين حياة الإنسان وتطلعاته، لتجعلها جديرة حقاً بالخلود والبقاء.
