يُطلق فايز غازي روايته الأولى بعنوان "مُنايَ"، الصادرة بطبعتها الأولى عن دار أبعاد في بيروت، وهي بكر إصداراته وتفاحة معاناة جيل نابض بروح وثابة.
التمعتْ في "مُنايَ" جذوة الحب، قلق الصراع، روح الشباب، عزم التحدي، وطأة الأعراف التي كلّست الروح، التدين الذي اغتال "الكتاب" توق الإنتماء للخالق المخلوق في وحدة وجود، عدوان إسرائيل التي دأبت على قصف ما بنيناه أعماراً وبيوت حنين وزوايا ذكريات وأماني، تتوّجها روح مشرقية تصر على "إثمها" الكنعاني التاريخي مدى العصور فتنغرس في ترابها في عَودِ فرع إلى أصل لتورقَ مقاومة شعراً وروايات وبطولات إنسانية باهرة...
"مُنايَ" فايز غازي في روحها ومعاناتها، في منطلقاتها ومآلها، هي نفسها "مُنايَ" جيل جديد تدشّن مع سرب شعراء ورواة وقاصّين، منذ حوالي سبعة عقود، جسرَ عبور نحو أدب جديد يخطّ جلجلته معمَّداً بالحبر والدم، بالدموع والأنين والوجع، بالغربة ووهم الحضور الغياب، في مواجهة أدب عُري وجنس يتوسّل لغة سافلة إباحية، أدب تافة يزيّن الضياع والتشوش مغرقاً في شرنقة فردانية ويأس ينزلق إلى عدمٍ وتهجير روحي مؤداه أننا ذو دونية قومية وفراغ فني ملتبس.
تعبق روح المؤلف في بطله الشاب القلِق المتردد المتحدي المتولّه الأدوني، بالحب جائعاً لروح أنثى تكامِله في إبداع نسغ وتلاقح وجود مقدماً معاناته أن "إذا ارتأت الأقدارُ شيئاً فلا بد منه..." مدعماً "فرضيته الفلسفية" بسطوة قدر رغم قوله "صغيرةٌ آفاقنا ولكن عظيمةٌ تطلعاتنا..." إقراراً بالتحدي والصراع وقدرة الإنتصار.
