يدور موضوع الكتاب حول عالم الآخرة وفلسفتة "كعالم الأرواح وعالم الفطرة وعالم الميثاق وعالم الذر –التي سوف نمر بها- كعالك البرزخ إلى عالم القيامة".
وفي هذا الكتاب مجموع أسئلة وجهت إلى سماحة الشيخ "محمد السند" حول هذه العوالم وفلسفتها –سوف نجد الجواب عنها بين دفتي الكتاب، ينقسم الكتاب إلى فصلين: الفصل الأول "عوالم الإنسان ومنازله" ونقرأ فيه محاورات تدور حول: حقيقة وجود روح الإنسان، النسيان في العوالم؛ الحياة قبل وبعد عالم الدنيا، قاهرية الموت، ماهية الشيطان، عالم البرزخ، عذاب القبر، إذا الوحوش حشرت، المرور على الصراط، الرجعة... الخ.
أما الفصل الثاني فجاء بعنوان "قضايا العقل العملي" بما هو دراسة للسلوك والإجتماع الإنساني وتنظيم شؤون المجتمع- في مقابل العلوم الإنسانية في صيغتها الحديثة المستقلة عن حضن الفلسفة. ونقرأ فيه: فرضية تكوين الذرة، تمويه ابن سينا، مغالطة الأشعري خلاف الطباطبائي، كنوز القرآن...الخ.
هذا، وقد اعتمد المؤلف نصوص القرآن الكريم وروايات أهل البيت كمادة اتكأ عليها في الإجابة على معظم الأسئلة الواردة في المتن.
