في مجموعتها القصصية جداً "وردة بلون السماء" تقدم فاطمة آل تيسان رؤيتها لعالم المرأة بطريقة متشظية يسكنها اليسلبي في العلاقة مع الآخر القوي أو الذي ينظر له كقوي: المجتمع، الأب، الأخ، الزوج، أو "عالم القوة الخرافي" كما يحلو للكاتبة أن تسميه.
"وردة بلون السماء" هي أقرب إلى فن النثر منه إلى العمل الروائي حاولت الكاتبو أن تقدم فيه تشكيلاً جديداً لإعادة صوغ الواقع أو عكسه أو محاكاته، هذا الواقع؛ الذي لا نستطيع رؤيته من حيث أنه المتواري والمختبئ وراء قيم المجتمع وعاداته وأعرافه؛ والذي لا تستطيع إدراكه والنيل من عربه وفضحه إلا بالكتابة. تقول: "... سرقوا هواجس وجعلوا منها نصباً تذكارياً، يزورونه أواخر الشتاء، وأنا سلبت حقيقتهم، لأزرعها أشواكاً تدمي أقدامهم، وتذكرهم أنهم سرقوا مني الشتاء". ومهما يكن من أمر، وعلى رغم مناخ التيه والعزلة والافتراق الذي تشيعه النصوص، يبقى أنه انعكاس للواقع بمعنى ما، والمرأة التي تتحدث عنها الكاتبة ستكرر في كل زمان ومكان.
