في كتابه هذا، يقدم المحامي الأردني محمد صالح المعزي اللوائح التنفيذية لنظام المرافعات الشرعية موزعة على خمسة عشر باباً وفقاً لنوع الحكم والمواد القانونية التي تجيزه أو تُبطلهُ مع شرح للإجراءات التي ترافق كل حكم، ومنها: أحكام عامة، أو حسب "الإختصاص" دولي، نوعي، محلي، ومنها ما يدخل في رفع الدعوى وقيدها، والحضور للخصوم أو غيابهم، ثم الدفوع والإدخال والتدخل والطلبات العارضة، أو وقف الخصومة وإنقطاعها وتركها، أو في حال تنحي القضاة وردهم عن الحكم "يكون القاضي ممنوعاً من نظر الدعوى وسماعها" في أحوال معينة...
يتبع ذلك إجراءات الإثبات مثل: إستجواب الخصوم والإقرار عن طريق اليمين والمعاينة والشهادة والخبرة والقرائن، تأتي بعد ذلك عملية إصدار الأحكام وتفسيرها، وطرق الإعتراض على الأحكام: التمييز، والتماس إعادة النظر بالحكم، ثم عمليات الحجز والتنفيذ: حجز ما للمدين لدى الغير، وتوفيق المدين وغيرها، من إجراءات القضاء المستعجل وتسجيل الأوقاف والإستحكام وإثبات الوفاة وحصر الورثة، وأخيراً أحكام ختامية وتتضمن مواد صادرة عن وزير العدل خاصة باللوائح التنفيذية لنظام المرافعات الشرعية.
