في هذا الكتاب شرح للدرة اليتيمة من تأليف الشيخ عبد الحميد آل مرهون الذي اعتبر من أحد وجهاء المنطقة ومن أبرز خطبائها حيث قدم العديد من الخدمات الإجتماعية، ولا زال أباً روحياً لأبناء مجتمعه، وإماماً لمسجد الجامع في بلده أم الحمام ومرشداً لحجاج بيت الله الحرام.
وطبعت له العديد من المؤلفات ومنها هذا الكتاب الذي شرع فيه الدرة اليتيمة معرفاً بالجزء الأول منه بالمصنّف ثم افتتح ارجوزته مبتدئاً بأقسام الكلام وتعريفها وعلامات كل منها، ثم شرع في الحديث على البناء والإعراب وبيان أحكامهما وعلى المعرفة والفكرة وذكر في باب آخر المرفوعات من الأسماء والمنصوبات منهم فشرع في تبيان أحكامهم كما تحدث عن مخفوضات الأسماء في أحرف الخفض في الإضافة وفي التبعيّة.
