هذا كتاب في أعلام الشعر ويتميز بأنه معجم بكنى الشعراء مرتب على حروف المعجم وكذا بألقابهم، فهو مسعف للأديب عند الإلتباس . وطبع معه للمؤلف : " من نسب إلى أمه من الشعراء " فأوردهم ونبذة عنهم وعن شعرهم وطبع معه أيضا رسالة للعلامة الفيروزآبادي " تحفة الأبيه فيمن نسبه إلى غير أبيه "، ذكر فيه من نسب إلى إثنين من آبائه أو أمهاته أو جده أو جداته أو غير أبيه، وقد رتبهم على حروف المعجم . سواء كانوا من الشعراء أو غيرهم
