وكتابه هذا جعله واحة إسلامية يتفيأ في ظلالها المكدود من قيظ الدنيا، ويقطف من ثمارها الإسلامية والبلاغية والأدبية والأخلاقية ما جاب له ذلك، لا يكل القارئ منه ولا يمل، مغزياً فكره بالحكم من حكايا السلف، ومغزياً روحه بنكت العارفين والسالكين ومصغياً بقلبه وعقله إلى معاني الآيات والأحاديث ليتخذن منها ما شاء له من الأقوال والأدعية كل في حينه، وقد جاء كل ذلك ضمن أربعين جولة، كان كل جولة رحلة فكرية لمدينة من مدائن الفكر والروح.
