محمد نور الدين أفايــة مفكر مغربي ولد بسلا سنة 1956، يشتغل أستاذا للفلسفة المعاصرة والجماليات بكلية الآداب والعلوم الإنسانية بالرباط، وهو عضو سابق بالمجلس الأعلى للاتصال السمعي البصري، وحاليا خبير باللجنة الثقافية بالمجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي والبيئي.
له مقالات فلسفية وسياسية بمجموعة من الصحف والمجلات الوطنية :
الاتحاد الاشتراكي، العلم، أنوال، الحياة، دراسات عربية، الفكر العربي، الكرمل
فاز بجائزة أهم كتاب عربي لدورة 2015 التي تمنحها مؤسسة الفكر العربي ببيروت، وذلك عن كتابه "في النقد الفلسفي المعاصر، مصادره الغربية وتجلياته العربية" .

2011 رجّات وانتفاضات وتحولات تمس السياسة والمجتمع والثقافة. هذه التحولات، اختلفت بشأنها القراءات والمواقف والأحكام من حيث التشخيص والتوصيف، لكنها التقت كلها حول إعادة طرح قضية طبيعية السلطة السياسية، وشرعية النظام السياسي، كما التقت حول دمقرطة الدولة والانتقال الديموقراطي.
ولعل التحدي الكبير الذي تواجهه مختلف البلدان العربية يتمثل في الخروج من الاستبداد ومن البيئة الخاضعة لنمط وحيد للإدارة السياسية، والتحول الى مجال سياسي آخر يقبل باختلاف الآراء والمواقف وحرية التعبير، وسيادة القانون، والسلم المدني.
ولكن، كيف يمكن الخروج من الاستبداد والانخراط في معمعة الديموقراطية؟ وإلى أي حد يمكن إعادة تأسيس السياسة على أنقاض اللاسياسة وتقاليد الإذعان والإذلال؟
سؤالان كبيران تطرحهما "الأحداث" التي تجري الآن في أكثر من بلد عربي. والاقتراب منها يبدو أنه عملية سهلة، ولا سيما ان الانفعال يسيطر على امكانات التعقل لأسباب يعود بعضها إلى المكبوت المتراكم عبر التاريخ، وبعض آخر إلى الضجيج الذي برعت وسائل الاتصال السمعي ـ البصري، بالخصوص، في إحداثه. لذلك يجد المرء نفسه تحت سطوة عناصر تجيش عوامل الإدراك أكثر مما تستنفر شروط الوعي. يتعلق الأمر بأسئلة حارقة ومركّبة، وبمفارقات يجد القارئ لها بعض عوامل الإضاءة في ثنايا هذا الكتاب.
