تعتبر الأهداف التربوية غايات المشتغلين في حقل التربية والتعليم بحيث يسعون إلى تحقيقها بواسطة الطرائق التعليمية التي هي بمثابة وسائل توصل إلى هذه الغايات.
ومع تعدد الأهداف وتنوعها تتعدد الطرائق، والمدّرس الناجح هو من يتعرّف على الأهداف أولاً ثم ينتقي الطريقة التي توصله إلى تحقيق غايته بأسهل ما يكون وبأقل جهد ضمن الوقت المحدد.
وكان التربويون يخططون لمجموعة من الأهداف نذكر منها:
-أهداف معرفية أو تعليمية وهي المعلومات التي ينقلها المدّرس إلى تلاميذه في كل درس.
-أهداف إجتماعية أو تربوية وهي المغزى الذي تتضمنه رسالة الدرس على الصعيد الإجتماعي.
-أهداف سلوكية ومواقفية وهي الكفاية التي يجب أن تبقى مع التلميذ مما تعلّمه في غرفة التدريس ليترجمها خارج إطار المدرسة وفي خلال حياته العملية وعلاقاته الإجتماعية، لذلك سيكون بحثنا في مجموعة من الطرائق والأنظمة التعليمية التي تعتبر على خط التجديد التربوي وهي تمثّل تيارات يرجى منها إحداث تغيير في المفاهيم والأهداف والتعاطي، وسيكون الكلام في هذا المجال حول:
-الفصل الأول: طريقة التعليم بناء على تصنيف بلوم للأهداف التربوية.
-الفصل الثاني: النظرية التكنولوجية في التربية.
-الفصل الثالث: تعددية الوسائط التربوية وإستخدام الحاسوب في التعلّم والتعليم.
الفصل الرابع: نموذج باندورا أو نظرية التعلّم بالملاحظة.
-الفصل الخامس: نموذج برونر أو نظرية التعلّم بالإكتشاف.
-الفصل السادس: نموذج أوزوبل أو نظرية التعلّم الإستقبالي ذي المعنى أو نظرية التعلّم الذكي.
-الفصل السابع: المربون المعروفون عالمياً والأبعاد التجديدية في أعمالهم؛ "باولو فريري"، "سيرجيو نيزا"، "جون غودلاد".
-الفصل الثامن: طريقة العمل الفريقي.
-الفصل التاسع: الدمج المدرسي.
-الفصل العاشر: الإبداع.
-الفصل الحادي عشر: الأهداف والمبادئ والإتجاهات التربوية الحديثة.
