الأستاذ الدكتور فردريك معتوق/ من مواليد لبنان 1949، عميد معهد العلوم الإجتماعية في الجامعة اللبنانية، أستاذ مُحاضِر في العلوم الإجتماعيَّة، ومُشرف على أطروحات الدكتوراه في المَعهد.
-الشهادات التي نالها:
-إجازة وماجستير في الآداب الفرنسيَّة من جامعة ليون (فرنسا) عام 1973.
-دكتوراه حلقة ثالثة في العلوم الإجتماعيَّة من جامعة تور (فرنسا) مع تقدير مشرّف جداً، عام 1979.
-من مؤلفاته المنشورة:
