الفطرةُ (موهبة ً واستعدادا ً)، والاكتسابُ (ثقافة ً واطّلاعا ً) هما جناحا المبدع، لاسيّما إذا كان شاعراً ينشدُ الإدهاشَ والإثارةَ، وابتداع الصور المولّدة، وغيرها من مقوّمات النصّ الجميل الذي يتركُ سحره في المتلقّي أطولَ مدّةٍ ممكنة.
ولا غَروَ إنْ قلنا: إنَّ سعد الحجّي في مجموعته الثانية هذه (جَذِلاً.. بين سرب السنونو) قد أبان َعن موهبةٍ تجلّت في ذائقةٍ شعريّةٍ أصيلةٍ في أدائها المقتدر بناءً، وتوصيلاً، فضلاً عمّا أبان عنه اكتسابُهُ المعرفيّ من تمكّن ٍفي توظيفِ الرموز الملحميّةِ، والأسطوريّةِ، والقرآنيّة، وجعلها فاعلة ً في نسيجهِ المضمونيّ رؤية ًوانشغالاً.
إنَّ هذه المجموعة َشجيّة ٌ في إيقاعاتها: الخارجيّةِ والداخليّةِ على حدّ ٍ سواء، وليسَ ذلكَ غريباً لـ " أنَّ الكون َ مبنيّ ٌ بناءً موسيقيّاً " كما رأى فيثاغورس، ولعلَّ سحر الموسيقى لا يعدله سحرٌ آخر كما نزعم إذا باحت به الروح كما في قصيدة حزين: ما ضرّني أنّي حزين! أو أنَّ آلامي تجلّتْ قد تبينُ ولا تبين؟!
إنَّ هذه المجموعة َحريّة ٌباحتضانِ القارئ الجاد لها، لما فيها من شجن ٍ إنسانيّ شفّاف غير منغمس ٍ بالغموضِ، أو الإبهام الذي يفتعله بعضهم لضعفِ في أدواته الفنيّة.
