هذا كتاب يعني بتدريس التربية الإسلامية في المرحلة الثانوية والإعدادية، ويمكن أن يفيد منه المعلم الابتدائي في الصفين الخامس والسادس وهو يشتمل أربعة أبواب.
الباب الأول: يتحدث عن بيئة مدرسة الدين، وعن واقع حاله وواقع إعداده، وعن عوامل انهيار الوعي الإسلامي في المدرسة. كما يتحدث عن بعض الاقتراحات في طبيعة الأعداد لهذا المدرس. كذلك فإن هذا الباب، يتحدث عن صفات مدرسة الدين الكفء، وعن الوسائل التي تعينه على الاتصاف بها.
أما الباب الثاني: ويشمل ثلاثة أرباع الكتاب، أو يزيد وهو مجزأ إلى موضوعات الدينية التي تشملها الكتب الدينية في المرحلة الثانوية وهي (التلاوة، التفسير، الحديث، العقيدة، الأخلاق، نظم الحياة في الإسلام، السيرة النبوية، العبادات-الصلاة، الزكاة، الصيام، الحج).
أما الباب الثالث فعنى بالناحية النزوعية والمجال السلوكي التطبيقي للعقيدة، وهو ما يسمى (بالنشاط اللاصفي) خارج قاعة الدرس.
أما الباب الرابع: فاشتمل مراجع المدرس في تدريس الدين، وقد تم اختيارها من بين مئات الكتب في جميع الحقول التي يفيد منها مدرس الدين، في تدريسه، وثم الإكثار من قوائم المراجع لئلا يعوم المدرس بعضها.
