مدينة الغرباء مسرحية تدور رحاها بين مؤثرات ثلاث حكمت وما تزال تحكم واقعنا العربي المال –السلطة- الدين. وعلى هذا تحكي المسرحية تجربة السلطة السياسية في البلاد العربية، والدور المركزي الذي يلعبه رجال الدين في التأثير على الناس في قضاياهم المصيرية. "فبإشارة من الحاكم يأمرون الناس بالقتال وبإشارة منه ينفقون كل ما في جيوبهم من دولارات... تجربة السلطة السياسية جعلتنا ندرك أن قمع الأحزاب السياسية الأخرى في المدينة لا يتم إلا عن طريق رجال الدين... وبهذا نكون قد الاتحنا من الليبراليين والشيوعيين، والأحرار والمنبر الديمقراطي ومن يسمون أنفسهم بالمناضلين...".
