بإيقاع سردي جميل، وبلغة أدبية، وأسلوب قصصي مبسط ينسج مؤلف هذا الكتاب "محمد رضا الدباغ" سيرة الأئمة (زين العابدين- والباقر- والصادق) رضي الله عنهم، فينهل من حياة هؤلاء الأئمة وقائع تروى، وتفاصيل معيشة، يعود من خلالها ماضي، فيستحضره مرة بواسطة اللغة، ويذهب إلية مرة أخرى، فيبدو ما يرويه وكأن يحدث الآن، فيستعيد تارة سيرة زين العابدين بن علي في عبادته، وتارة أخرى بطولات الباقر، وثالثة، أحاديث الصادق عليه السلام، وهكذا يقف المؤلف على ما امتازت به فترة حياة كل واحد من أولئك الأئمة يما تحفل فيها من وقائع في محاولة لتفسير ما جرى وكيف جرى في قالب درامي حزين حيناً، ومفعم بالحياة حيناً أخرى حين يروي الأب "محمد" الشخصية التي اختارها المؤلف في "سيرة الأئمة" لتتحدث لأولادها عن آل البيت، وتجيب عن أسئلتهم، بالقدر الذين يجعل منهم أكثر انتماءاً ونفعاً لهذا الدين وللوطم وللأمة العربية والإسلامية...
