يتحدث هذا الكتاب عن القرارات الاستئنافية في الأحوال الشخصية في الجزء الأول وجاء وتطرأ في مقدمته عن المواضيع التي تنظر فيها المحاكم الشرعية ومنها الوقف والدعاوى المتعلقة بالنزاع بين الوقفين وأموال الأيتام والأوقاف المربوطة بحجج شرعية والولاية والوصاية والوراثة والحجر والفكه وإثبات الرشد وغير ذلك وكان دور الكاتب في هذا الكتاب أنه بذل جهداً بليغ لجمع أعم ما تحتوي هذه القرارات من مبادئ واجتهادات وأصول فقهية وقضائية وقانونية وجاء مقسماً كتابه إلى فصول كان أولها عن الأجرة وثانيها عن الإرث وثالثها عن التركة ورابعها عن التعويض عن الطلاق التعسفي وخامسها عن التفريق ثم عن الحجر ثم عن الحضانة والضم والمشاهدة ثم عن الدية ثم عن الزواج وأخيراً تحدث عن الطاعة.
أما الجزء الثاني جاء متمماً لكتاب القرارات الاستئنافية في الأحوال الشخصية الجزء الأول فعني هذا الجزء تناول الكاتب أموراً في الطلاق والظهار والإيلاء واللعان والعدة والرجعة وعرف كل منها لغةً واصطلاحاً وذكر الأحكام فيهما بالفصل ثم تطرق إلى المفقود وقام بتعريفه وحكمه حال فقده ثم المهر والجهاز والنسب والنفقة والهبة في مرض الموت والوصية والوقف والولي والوصي وذكر أحكامها جميعها مع تعاريفها ثم جاء بملحقات الكتاب فتحدث عن قانون الأحوال الشخصية والأسباب الموجهة لقانون الأحوال الشخصية وقانون أصول المحاكمات الشرعية وقانون انتقال الأموال غير المنقولة ونظام رسوم المحاكم الشرعية والنظام المعدل له وأخيراً جدول القرارات الاستئنافية الشرعية وسنوات صدورها.
