يبرز الكتاب نماذج رائدة من المجتمع الأمريكي لم يكتب عنها الكثيرون، نماذج لشخصيات دعمت قضايا المسلمين بشكل كبير وبالرغم من هذا لم نمد يد التواصل معها بالشكل الكافي، كما يبرز الكتاب قصص لنماذج رائدة من المبتعثين الذين تركوا أثرا إيجابيا كبيرا بأرض الابتعاث سواء على الأمريكان أو على المسلمين ولم يجدوا من يوثق تلك التجربة.
هي محاولة لإيصال قصص رائدة من أرض الابتعاث لشخصيات عملت بجد بدون البحث عن البروز الإعلامي وعسى أن يساهم الكتاب بتسليط الضوء على بعض من هذه الشخصيات الرائدة أملا بإنصافهم وتوثيق تجربتهم للأجيال الجديدة الذاهبة لأرض الابتعاث.
