يقدم لنا الحديث النبوي الشريف -وهو كلام أفصح من نطق بالضاد صلى الله عليه وسلم- نماذج رفيعة للبيان العربي، ولذلك يحب الاستفادة منها في مجال تعليم القراءة لطلبة اللغة العربية ولاسيما الناطقين بغيرها من اللغات، غير أن هذه الأحاديث التي يمكن الاستفادة منها في هذا المضمار ليست في متناول أيدي دارسي اللغة العربية في مراحل طلبهم الأولى، إذ هي في بطون مجلدات ضخام لا يمكنهم الوصول إلهيا إلا بشف النفس، وحتى إذا كانت في متناول أيديهم فمن الصعب عليهم الاستفادة منها وهي غير معروضة عرضاً يألفه طالب هذا العصر، ولا مشروحة شرحاً لغوياً يناسب مستواهم.
انطلاقاً من هنا حاول هذا الكتاب الذي بين أيدينا أن يمهد الطريق إلى الاستفادة من الحديث الشريف في مجال تعليم اللغة العربية، واختار لذلك ستة عشر حديثاً بعضها قصير وبعضها طويل، وبعضها متوسط الطول، وعرضها عرضاً يساعد الطالب على فهمها. وبما أن الطرق الحديثة لتعليم اللغات تعتمد على النصوص لشرح قواعد النحو والصرف، فقد ذكر بعد كل حديث ما ورد فيه من المسائل النحوية والصرفية، وشرحها شرحاً مناسباً.
وكذلك شرح أهم المفردات الواردة في كل حديث، غير أنه لم يشرحها على الطريقة التقليدية وهي أن يذكر الكلمة بصيغتها الواردة في النص مع شرحها، ذلك أن هذه الطريقة لا تصلح ثباتاً للناطقين بغير العربية لأنها لا تفيد غير المعنى، وإنما اهتم بالشرح بتحديد ماهية الكلمة، فإذا كانت فعلاً حدد بابه ومصدره، والحرف الذي يتعدى به إذا كان مما يتعدى بحرف جر وما إلى ذلك، أما إذا كان اسماً فعمد إلى تحديد ماهيته هل هو مفرد أو جمع الخ. وإتماماً للفائدة عزز كل حديث بثالث وهو التمارين المتنوعة بعضها خاص بالاستيعاب، ولبعضها لاختيار الطالب في مجالات النحو والصرف واللغة.
