في كتابه "قصّتي مع التشيع" يتحدث الكاتب الكويتي "المهتدي بالله بو محمد علي" عن الأسباب التي دَعْتهُ للإنتقال من مذهب أهل السُّنَّة والجماعة إلى مذهب أهل البيت عليهم السلام والتمسك به مع زوجته وأولاده على إعتبار أن "البحث والتحقيق لمعرفة طريق الحق واجب شرعي على كل مسلم" في قناعة منه "أن الفرقة الناجية - هي مذهب الشيعة... مذهب أهل بيت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم".
وهكذا يبدأ المؤلف كتابه بكتابة بعض ذكرياته كما يقول "عن المرحلة الإنتقالية بين مذهبي السابق... ومذهبي الجديد، وأكتب الحقائق التي توصلت إليها حين المشوار الثقافي الطويل، وأكتب - أيضاً - الإجابة على الأسئلة التي تتبادر إلى أذهان الذين يُريدون معرفة المعلومات عن مذهب الشيعة، وعن كيفية حصول الإفتراق بين الأمة الإسلامية...
بعد وفاة نبي الإسلام (صلى الله عليه وسلم) وعن أسباب حُدوث الإختلاف... في كيفية الأذان والوضوء والصلاة والحج وبعض الواجبات الأخرى.
وأخيراً، ومهما يكن من أمر المؤلف وقصته مع التشيع، فإن الإسلام أمة واحدة، وما ينجي الإنسان هو صالح أعماله وليس الإنتساب لهذا المذهب أو ذاك.
