أضع كتابي هذا "قبيلة مطير في كتابات المؤرّخين السعوديين" بين أيدي القرّاء الأعزاء، وهو حصيلة ما كنت أدوّنه في سجلاتي الخاصّة لبعض الملاحظات التي أجدها متناثرة في كتب التواريخ السعودية أثناء قراءتي فيما يتعلّق بتاريخ قبيلة مطير.
وإنني من خلال هذا العمل المتواضع أحاول تصحيح الأخطاء الواردة في كتابات بعض المؤرّخين، كوني أحد أبناء قبيلة مطير إذ حرصت على توثيق كتابي من خلال المصادر والمراجع المحايدة.
