العلاقة بين الشاعر والمكان هي المجال الذي تدور حوله الدراسة الدكتور عماد الضمور في هذا الكتاب والمعنونة بــ "ضانا سحر المكان وتجليات الإبداع" يقدم خلالها مقاربة للعلاقة التلازمية التي تربط الشاعر الأردني بالمكان، ومحاولة نقدية لإبراز جماليات محمية "ضانا" الطبيعية بوصفها مكاناً ملهماً تشكل في صورة فنية مبدعة أظهرها الشعراء الأردنيون في قصائدهم، إذ ظهرت "ضانا" بنية دالة، تعكس روحاً حيّة، ووجداً متوهجاً قادراً على التشكل في قوالب شعرية.
وبناءً على ما تقدم استدعت الدراسة البحث في أبعاد الظاهرة المكانية ووظيفتها وموقع الشاعر داخل بنية المكان، وقدرته على إعادة صياغة الواقع جمالياً من خلال الصور الفنية، والتراكيب اللغوية، والبنى الشعرية وغيرها من أدوات.
توزعت الدراسة على مقدمة وتمهيد، فصلين، وخاتمة، ثم ملحقاً بالقصائد التي تناولها المؤلف، مع الترجمة لشعرائها، تناول الفصل الأول طقوس ولادة القصائد التي تغنى فيها الشعراء بحنانا بضانا، وهي متعددة؟ لثراء المكان الفكري، وقدرته على التشكل في قوالب إبداعية مختلفة، ويرصد في الفصل لحركة المكان الإبداعية من الناحية الفكرية والتاريخية والوطنية والقومية فضلاً عن "البعد الأنثوي" الذي ظهرت فيه "حنانا" بوصفها رمزاً للخصب والتجدد.
أما الفصل الثاني من الدراسة، فتناول الجوانب الفنية التي تجلّت من خلالها صورة "حنانا" في الشعر الأردني، وتم فيه الحديث عن اللغة الشعرية، والدلالة، والأساليب التعبيرية المنتجة لشعرية الصورة.
من الشعراء الذين تمت دراسة قصائدهم في هذه الدراسة نذكر: الشاعرة سميرة عوض، الشاعر محمود فضيل التل، الشاعر محمد العامري، الشاعر محمود الشلبي، الشاعر سعيد يعقوب... وآخرون.
