فؤاد سليمان، حقيقة مزدوجة جمعت في عمقها بين وجهين لشخص وأديب، أي فؤاد سليمان الإنسان وتموز الصحافي والكاتب صاحب القلم اللاذع، والوجهان هذان أصلاً لا ينفصلان واحدهما عن الآخر، بل إن الواحد يكمل الآخر خير تكملة.
وتموز الكاتب هو نفسه فؤاد سليمان الإنسان الذي عرف بجرأته ونبله ومثاليته وعطائه وتواضعه الجمّ. وكذلك فؤاد الإنسان كان هو نفسه تموز الكاتب الذي عرف أكثر ما عرف بتمرده ورفضه الظلم وثورته البيضاء على الجهل والأمية والتسلط الأعمى والفقر بدعوته المستمية لإحلال العدالة والحقّ.
وهذه هي مجموعة أعماله التي تكشف عن تجربة فؤاد سليمان الأدبية في فرادة أسلوبه وسلاسة لغته وجماليّة أدبه علاوة على واقعية مواضيعه والجرأة التي تحلى بها في معالجته قضايا الناس وهموم المجتمع وبعض الشؤون التي تعني الذاكرة اللبنانية والوجدان العام والتراث والمعاصرة والحداثة.
وبالإضافة إلى مؤلفاته الثمانية: درب القمر-تموزيات- القناديل الحمراء-أمتي إلى أين-كلمات لاذعة-أغاني تموز (شعر)-في رحاب النقد-يوميات ورسائل؛ بالإضافة إلى آثاره هذه، كان هناك كتاب "فؤاد سليمان بأقلامهم" ضمن تلك المجموعة والذي ضمّ اختيارات متنوعة شملت مقالات ودراسات يطل من خلالها فؤاد سليمان في صورة جلية وواضحة لتمثل جوهر ما كتب عنه في تنوعه واختلافه وليتبوأ الموقع الذي يستحقه في حركة الأدب اللبناني المعاصر.
فالكتاب هو باختصار عن فؤاد سليمان الصحافي والأديب والناقد ولكن بأقلامهم...، هم الكتّاب الذين عرفوه عن كثب، أو قرأوه بشغف وفرح كبيرين.
