يعتري عقود المعاملات المالية اليوم الكثير من العوارض التي تحيل الصحيح منها إلى باطل، والمباح إلى حرام، وهذه العوارض تتمثل في صور كثيرة. منها: الغش والتدليس والتمويه والتزوير والكذب.. وما شابه ذلك من الممارسات التي نهى عنها الشرع الحنيف.
وفي هذا الكتاب بنى المؤلف بحثه على جانب مهم من فقه المعاملات في الشريعة الإسلامية؛ وهو موضوع الخلابة (الخديعة) وما تتضمنه هذه الكلمة من تصرفات؛ بناه على ما ثبت في الصحيح من "أن رجلاً كان يُخدع في البيع، فذكر ذلك للنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، فعلمه أن يقول إذا بايع: لا خلابة" ليضمن حقه.
وتكمن أهمية الكتاب من كونه يسلط الضوء على أحكام الشريعة الإسلامية في ضبط الخلابة كظاهرة؛ كانت وما زالت تعتري الكثير من المعاملات المالية بين المكلفين، ومن ثم طُرق معالجتها ووسائل الوقاية منها.
ويختم الباحث هذا الكتاب بإسقاط ما توصل إليه من ضوابط وأحكام؛ على بعض المعاملات المالية المعاصرة التي يعتريها شيء من صور الخلابة.
