هذا كتاب يجمع الأذكار الواردة عن سيد الأبرار صلى الله عليه وسلم، التي يسن للمسلم ترديدها، وقصد بهذا العمل أمرين: 1-أن يكون بين أيدي الناس كتاب مختصر في دعاء اليوم والليلة، يلتزم السنة ويجتنب البدعة ويحل محل كثير من الكتب المملوءة بالخرافات المصطنعة والأدعية الباطلة. 2-أن يكون هذا الأثر من العلم الذي ينتفع به على تطاول الأيام.
وإن شاء الدعاء لعظيم لأن الدعاء هو العبارة كما ورد عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، ولقد انتشرت في العصور المتأخرة بدع فلبست على الناس الحق وعمّت الخرافة أصقاعاً كثيرة، فظهرت بمظهر الدين، وذاعت أدعية فيها ما لم يجزه الشرع.
