لكن واحداً من هؤلاء الباحثين لم يعني بإصلاحاته الاجتماعية والدينية على الخصوص، وهذا ما دفع الدكتور محمد أحمد درنيقة عن هذه النواحي في هذا الكتاب وهدفه من وراء ذلك توضيح الصورة الحقيقية لهذا المصلح العظيم الذي لم يترك باباً من أبواب الإصلاح إلا وأتاه، مسلماً بالعلم والعمل.
