أتت فكرة هذا الكتاب من أجل مناقشة بعض الأمور المجهولة التي تحيط بالإنسان دون أن يكون لهُ رأي فيها إما بسبب جهل ماهيتها أو مكابرة منهُ بإعتبار أن هذه الأمور غير خاضعة للقوانين التي يعرفها أو أكتشفها، وسير بموجبها حياته، أو لإعتقاده أن الحياة والكون لا بد أن يكون في فلك القوانين والنظريات التي وضعها نفسه، لكن من يتمعن في هذه القوانين والنظريات البشرية يجد أنها في تبدل مستمر كأي مفردة من مفردات الحياة، فكلما تطور العقل البشري، وازدادت معرفته بأسرار الكون اكتشف قوانين جديدة وأسساً مختلفة يبني عليها حياته مرةً أخرى ولفترة جديدة مؤقتة حتى يكتشف ما يناقض أو ينسف ما بنيَ سابقاً.
إن هذه العملية المستمرة أي تبديل ما ثبت خطأهُ ووضع الجديد محل القديم تتكرر يومياً في حياة البشر، ولولا حصول هذا التبديل لما حدث أي تطور للإنسان ولولا وجود الشك لدى الإنسان في كل حقيقة يكتشفها في الحياة لَبقيَ حتى الآن يعيش حياة الهمجية ولثبتت العلوم والفنون والثقافة في مكانها بإعتبار أن أسسها حقائق ثابتة لا تقبل التغيير أو التبديل، قال تعالى: ﴿وَمَا أُوتِيتُمْ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا (85)﴾... [سورة الإسراء: آية 85].
أردت من هذا الكلام أن أقول أن الكثير من الأسرار لا يزال خافياً أو مخفياً عنه، وأن العقل البشري في سعي دؤوب حثيث لإكتشاف المزيد من الحقائق وإماطة اللثام عما يُحيط من أسرار وألغاز.
