تعالج دورية (التقويم الاستراتيجي "الإسرائيلية" آب 2004) في مقالاتها التالية التي أعدّها خبراء ومتخصصون في الشؤون السياسية والعسكرية عدة قضايا رئيسية أقلقت كيان العدو، وفي طليعتها مسألة الانتفاضة والمقاومة المسلحة التي يمارسها الشعب الفلسطيني ضد قوات الاحتلال. حيث حاول المساهمون في هذا "التقويم" ابتداع حلول سياسية أو عسكرية يمكن لقيادة الكيان أن تختار أفضلها من أجل تصفية الانتفاضة، وبالتالي القضية الفلسطينية ككل! لقد تركزت آراء وأفكار هؤلاء على احتمالات ما بعد الانسحاب "الاندحار" "الإسرائيلي" من قطاع غزوة أواسط العام المقبل (2005)، وتحديد أنجع السبل التي تكفل عدم استمرار المقاومة ضد الاحتلال انطلاقاً من القطاع، سواء بالوسائل العسكرية المدمرة "المتطورة" أو بالخطط السياسية المدعومة أميركياً وأوروبياً وعربياً حتى!
كما أكد الباحثون على أهمية دور السلطة الفلسطينية في قمع الانتفاضة ومنع أي عمليات عسكرية ضد الصهاينة بعد الانسحاب المتوقع، مع طرح تقديم إغراءات مادية ومعنوية لهذه السلطة في المرحلة الجديدة لدفعها في هذا الاتجاه! ولم يفت القائمين على هذا "التقويم الاستراتيجي" التطرق إلى وضعية حزب الله العسكرية والسياسية في لبنان.
ويُختتم العدد بمقالة لباحث صهيوني مؤيد لاتفاق جنيف الذي وقعته شخصيات فلسطينية و"إسرائيلية" توصف بالمعتدلة، أواخر العام 2003، باعتباره-حسب رأي الباحث-يشكل خياراً واقعياً يؤمّن لكيان العدو اعترافاً فلسطينياً كاملاً وحلاً نهائياً لقضايا القدس واللاجئين!
إن المضمون المشترك لكل المقالات الواردة في هذا "التقويم" هو البحث عن خيارات مناسبة وغير مكلفة تخرج "إسرائيل" من مأزقها الاستراتيجي الذي أوقعتها فيه الانتفاضة المباركة، والتي يأبى رئيس السلطة الفلسطينية الآتي، أبو مازن، إلا أن يهوّن من شأنها ومن قدراتها ومن فعلها المؤثر ومن تضحيات مجاهديها وشهدائها، تحت ذريعة أنها (أي المقاومة المسلحة) قد أدت إلى خسائر هائلة للشعب الفلسطيني وإلى مزيد من ترسيخ الاحتلال.
