ومن المباحث التي تتعلق بالإجماع، حقيقة معناه، وإثبات حجيته على منكريه، وشروط إنعقاده، وطرق نقله، وحجية السكوتي منه، وحكم إحداث قول ثالث بعد إستقرار إنقسام الأمة على قولين، إلى غير ذلك.
ومن المباحث التي تتعلق بالقياس، ما يشترك فيه مع الإجماع وخبر الواحد من إثبات الحجية على منكريه، وتفصيل أركانه مع بيان شروط كل منها، وبيان مسالك العلة وهي الطرق التي تثبت بها علية الوصف لحكم الأصل، والقوادح التي يقدح بها في الأقيسة، وبيان ما لا يجري فيه القياس من أبواب الأحكام، وأقسام الأقيسة بحسب درجات الإعتبار، وهي قياس العلة وقياس الدلالة وقياس الشبه.
