هو كتاب يحكي سيرة مختصرة عن الشيخ الشهيد خضر عدنان الذي أستشهد بعد إضراب عن الطعام أستمر لمدة يتعجب منها البعض وينبهر لما يقارب ثلاثة أشهر وعلى إثرها أستشهد.
ويحكي الكتاب ردود الفعل التي وجهت للمتهمين في حق الأسير الفلسطيني خضر عدنان وما عاناه في سجون الإحتلال الإسرائيلي وبحق الأسرى الذين ما زالوا يعيشون على هذا النمط.
ويتحدث الكتاب أيضاً عن مراحل معارك الأمعاء الخاوية التي مر بها الشهيد وكلمته الأخيرة الموجهة إلى عائلته وشعبه العظيم الشعب الفلسطيني.
